I am always so amazed by the power of staging, so this week I’ve decided to share another one of my recent staging projects!
As with all projects, this one began with a few important questions. The condo came with a few gently used furniture items, so we first decided which of those were staying, and which were going!
Next we decided on paint colours! If you’ve been keeping up with the blog you will know that my go-to is always an easy neutral - so we kept it consistent with a warm neutral throughout the condo. Finally we discussed interior door replacement and lighting. The closets were treated to some fresh doors, and we also decided to replace some of the lighting fixtures with updated varieties. Take a look at the stunning fixture we added above the dining table!
Kitchen
This kitchen had so much potential! First we replaced the floor tile with darker, larger tiles which really gave the space a more luxurious look and feel. Not to mention the contrast really helps the cabinets pop!
We then added a fresh backsplash. I love subway tile, especially for projects with a lower budget! It is a less expensive option, but still provides a fresh look that is appealing to many buyers.
We finished off the kitchen with some decor pieces to give some life to the space! Some faux greenery and a few pretty jars for storing some bright fruit always do the trick.
Living and Dining Room
Both of these spaces were treated with some new furniture! We chose a gorgeous dark grey couch, a lighter grey accent chair, and a three-piece coffee and side table set for the living area. To tie the space together we added a large area rug, wall art and throw pillows - all with complementing colours! Finally we styled the tables with a few simple, but eye-catching decor pieces.
We added a five-piece dining set to the adjoining dining area, with light-grey upholstered chairs to keep the colour scheme consistent! A few complementing wall art and decor pieces were the perfect finishing touch to this space.
Bedrooms
We decided to keep the master and guest bedroom furniture! All other furniture was brought in to update and showcase the property to potential buyers. Fresh white bedding, some wall art, lamps, and coordinating throw pillows made a world of a difference in these bedrooms, and really helped tie together the entire condo.
The Bathroom
The bathroom was updated with some fresh floor tiles, a new vanity lighting fixture, and new shower doors!
