Coffee Table Styles | Favourite Three

Coffee tables are the centre piece of most living spaces - making them the perfect canvas for design and decor elements - and no matter what the shape or size of your coffee table there are endless ways to style it. There are so many different combinations of trays, books, vases, greenery, bowls and baskets that will transform your coffee table into an eye-catching display you can enjoy everyday.

We love drawing inspiration from some of our favourite designers for coffee tables - so we decided to round up our favourite three coffee table styles this month! We’ve also linked some products so you can curate similar arrangements!

Look 01 | Modern & Bold

This clean and modern design by Lindsay Brooke is so stunning! We love the use of colour, the eye-catching coffee table and the bold wall art. The untraditional coffee table complements the space so well - maintaining the consistency of the striped pattern seen in the pillows and even the wall art.

Round Tray: A beautiful round tray was chosen to ground the other decor items on the coffee table and to help offset the many straight lines and angles within the space.

Greenery: The greenery and the beautiful blue pot are a great addition to this space - with both elements complementing the wall art perfectly!

Look 02 | Cool & Coastal

This beautiful living space by Tiffany Leigh soothes the soul with its coastal ambience. Crisp whites, sandy beiges, and soft blue and green hues make for the perfect colour scheme - accented with stunning natural decor accents. We love the contrast of the dark round coffee table with the rest of the space - it truly makes it the focal point of the room. The table is styled perfectly with decor items and natural elements that complement this simple coastal design of the overall space.

Books: Books are a coffee table staple, offering both function and beauty. Stacking books can help set a foundation for other decor items too - like the round dish and abstract metallic piece in this look.

Lots of Levels: Playing with height is always a great idea when styling coffee tables. Try mixing and matching candles, ceramics, and decorative vases filled with florals or pampas grass.

Look 03 | Contemporary & Chic

We are swooning over this living area designed by the one and only Studio McGee! What contemporary design would complete without clean lines, bold structural elements and beautiful neutrals - and the coffee table could not be more perfect for this space!

Wooden Bowl: Bowls and baskets are the perfect addition to any coffee table! Round bowls help soften the edges of square tables and offer some great height - without getting in the way!

Stone Coasters: Every coffee table should have some coasters - not only do they offer protection for your table, but you can carefully select a material that complements colours and textures in your space! We love this marble coaster set.

Whether you’re styling a brand new coffee table, or simply looking to refresh your current display - finding that perfect balance of elements and items on your table is so rewarding. Not to mention it’s a simple and budget friendly way to scratch that design itch when bigger projects are out of the question.

We hope this round up has left you feeling inspired! Until next time…

With love,

Kristina
