No one loves doing laundry - but a well-designed laundry room can certainly make difference in our daily lives. Look 01

If your laundry room has an existing cabinet unit, a fresh lick of paint may be exactly what the space needs to look like new again. We love the colour choice in this space by Blissful Design Studio - bold but not overbearing! If your laundry room is small, or lacking natural light - consider a lighter neutral or white paint. This will add to the illusion of a larger space!

Look 02

Upgrading the flooring in your laundry room can be a worthwhile investment - and selecting a material that is durable and water resistant is key! We love the rustic look and feel of the brick flooring in this Magnolia design - perfect for main level laundry rooms! Consider tiles or luxury vinyl plank for basement and upper-level laundry spaces.

Look 03

The common laundry room often lacks enough space to get the job done efficiently. Getting creative with storage solutions can be a lifesaver! Maximize your space with built-in shelf drawers and ironing tables for a clutter free zone that is both functional and beautiful. We love how Life as Mrs.Builder made this corner laundry unit work so well.

Look 04

TTM Home Design has created the most beautiful space with all the bells and whistles that the ideal laundry room should have. We also love how this design proves that no space is too small to turn into a functional laundry room.

If you’re laundry room has a sink, consider upgrading the fixtures to something fresh and bold. We love how they’ve coordinated the faucet and the cabinetry hardware - it complements the flooring and washer/dryer duo perfectly!

Look 05

This simple but sweet laundry room by Simply2Moms checks all of the boxes. Once again, laundry rooms are often the smallest rooms in a home - but that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to maximize the space for optimal functionality.

In this room, hip-height shelving would have taken up too much walking space - so opting to bring the shelves closer to the ceiling was perfect solution.

The other feature that stands out in this space is the door! A door with a glass window may not always come to mind for the inside of your home - but in the case of small laundry rooms - it can create the illusion of a larger space, even when the door is closed. Not to mention it has such a unique look and feel.

Look 06

A beautiful backsplash is always a good idea! Add some texture and interest to your laundry room with a tile backsplash. Not only is there a wide variety of shapes and colours to choose from - but there are also high- quality peel and stick tiles available on the market for an easy, cost-effective upgrade.

A simple white subway tile was the perfect choice by Mrs Macs Home. Not only does it offer a wonderful contrast with the dark cabinets, but it complements the tile flooring as well!

The possibilities are endless for transforming your laundry room into a space that will have you excited to do your chores! No matter the shape or size of the space, functionality and beauty are achievable. Get creative and be sure to consult professionals before making any big investments!
